The Third Point<\/h2>\n

The aphorism is essential: “Find the third point, and duality dissolves”.
Every (apparent) opposition has a ‘third point’ that nullifies that opposition. Seeing the third point means breaking away from our dualistic perception of any contrast. This is one of the effects of the Law of Three. Essentially, the third point creates unity within duality. It has become important for me to apply this mentally as often as possible (in self-remembrance<\/em><\/span><\/span>).<\/p>\n

In and between manifestations, there’s only duality on a superficial level, as everything is inherently connected, and this connection is the unity behind the presumed duality. Everything is also materially connected in the Akasha Field: the causal world that is the transition area from Consciousness to Manifestation.
Finding and truly seeing the third point in all (apparent) oppositions also eventually resolves our inner duality. That is inner advaita. That is self-realization<\/em><\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Practicing the Third Point<\/h4>\n

\"\"Do you experience a contradiction? Find the common characteristic in this opposition:<\/p>\n

  • man <> woman: human<\/li>\n
  • white <> black: skin<\/li>\n
  • gay <> straight: love<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Do you dislike ‘waiting’? The third point in ‘waiting and being-next’ is ‘being in the Now’. Someone who understands this never ‘waits’ again because a person waiting is a person on standby.
    Don’t feel like all that rain? Realize both rain and sun are nutrients for life, and you’ll find yourself ‘singing in the rain’.<\/p>\n

    Find third points in things that make you feel unhappy and see if it helps you to stay awake and thus with yourself.<\/p>\n

    Finding theoretical ‘third points’ in everything is fun, but of course, it’s all about dissolving our own inner duality. Therefore, we should start with the things that confuse, agitate, bore, sadden us, and so on. These are all the things and circumstances that make us forget ourselves and appeal to our ego that exists due to identification with opposing points: contradictions.<\/p>\n

    Look within diversity for what’s equal.
    Search within change for what remains.<\/p>\n
